For the Cannabis-Curious Friend

Start with a lower-potency drink. The 5mg Lemon & Lime seltzer is one of the gentler options on our menu, and its balanced THC and CBD profile is listed on the label. If your friend has some experience, Sweet Justice’s 10mg Cherry Cola is a step up in potency. If you’d rather give them an edible, POTartz tarts come in 1mg pieces, which makes the dose easy to adjust.

Remind your friend to check the potency on the label, since even a low dose affects people differently. Our guide to low-dose edibles and THC beverages can help you understand labels.

For the Person Who Has Everything

Accessories are a good fit here, especially ones with some personality. A Fire Island stash box adds something personal without guessing at a favorite product. For something more distinctive, our novelty gator clips are one of a kind, each made by Michigan artist Sasha Adams.

Cannabis Gift Guide FAQs

What are the best cannabis gifts under $15?

Our stocking stuffers start at $1 for a 2-pack of Zig-Zag cones. You can also grab a Luv Buds glass hand pipe or a 4SCORE 510-thread battery for $10, POTartz cannabis tarts for $14, or THC drinks like Pleasantea infused tea and Sweet Justice Cherry Cola for $8.

What should I give a friend who’s new to cannabis?

Start with a low-dose drink like Highly Casual’s Lemon & Lime High Five, which contains 5mg of THC and 5mg of CBD per can. POTartz tarts also work well because each piece contains just 1mg of THC, so your friend can adjust their dose easily. Remind them that a low dose still affects everyone differently.

Can I legally give cannabis as a gift in Michigan?

Yes. MCL 333.27955 allows adults 21 and older to give up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana to another adult, with no more than 15 grams as concentrate. You can’t accept payment for the gift, and you can’t advertise or promote the transfer to the public.

Can I mail cannabis to someone for the holidays?

No. The USPS prohibits marijuana in the mail, so plan to hand-deliver your gift.

How do I make sure a battery or bowl fits the recipient’s setup?

Check what they already use before you buy. Vapin’ Ape’s smart battery only works with Vapin’ Ape Smart Pods, the 4SCORE battery fits 510-thread cartridges, and our WYN Distribution flower bowl fits 18mm water pipes.
